Looking for a set of 10x42 Hunting Binos for one of my kids to use. We hunt mostly open plains hence the request for 10x42. I would like to spend up to $350 as my second oldest birthday is coming up. So what does everyone like in that price range? I thought I saw a special on the Sightron S111 Binos at SWFA about a month ago but just looked and they weren't on special.

I know SWFA don't export but I have a mate that lives in the States (Montana) that can purchase them for me.

I personally like the Vanquard Endeavor ED series binos. You can find them in your price range. I bought some in Kansas on a hunt and I haven't found a 300 dollar pair I like better. Bright and clear

I think the Nikon Monarch 5 is the best $300 10x42 on the market.

I'm agreed. I think that is one of the beset buys at that price point. I haven't tried them, but I know many are fond of the Bushnell Legend Ultra HD at that price point as well. Not sure when the new Zeiss Terra ED will be out, but they are in that price point and just may be the best there is at that price. For the money, I'll bet that Sightron SIII would be hard to beat.

I know they are over the $350 but how do you think the listed Bino's compare to the Zen Ray ED3?
