I am looking for a good value, accurate, .223 varmint ammo for a prairie dog hunt this summer. I plan on collecting the brass to reload later, but for now would like to buy new rounds or reloaded rounds.
Hornady V-Max is my favorite. Any suggestions? All input is appreciated.

Federal Power Shok 50gr JHP has been accurate and cheap factory ammo. I took a button buck with it. Knocked it right down. It was $75/200cnt once upon a time, but most likely has gone up from there. It had LC brass, which has been great for reloading, after removing the crimp.
I like the Hornady V-Max as well. $19/20cnt. The 40gr are 3800fps or so.
