I recently inherited a 26-06 imp. That is all the info that I have on the gun and the caliber. I have been told that it could be Ackley or Wildcat improved not sure how to determine which one. Any suggestions on reloading and reloading dies? Best way to fire form the cases? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Is the Imp worth the money to investing in dies?
Thanks a bunch |

www.reloadersnest.com will help you some, usually when your talking about wildcats like this the easy way to know what you have to measure the degree angle of the shoulder the 25-06 ackley improved is actually a some what popular choice in the world of wild cats, and i am almost 100% positive that rcbs has a set of dies sitting on a shelf for your gun.as far as reloading it any powder that works in the 25-06 .270 .280 and 30-06 will work in your wildcat round. the whole improved thing was started to improve performance really.
