Anyone got a suggestion for a pair of binoculars for finding deer in clear cuts up to about 300 yards? Budget is around $200.

Thanks. I added Diamondbacks and something else to the list and passed it on.

Leupold Yosemite BX1. Not a 40 mm objective, rather a 35 but solid glass for around $100.

I like those Yosemite. Had not considered the 8x, but I have a pair of the 6x30 I use for sq. hunting over dogs. They're perfect for that. Kinda surprising how well they work considering the price!

Have you looked at the Nikon Prostaff 7? Many to be had under your budget.

I had not. I figure any stated FOV under 400 at 1000 is too narrow for the purpose. Anyhow I passed the info on. I'll report back if the buyer buys and uses.
