Just bought this Anschutz 1710D HB (54 action) Meistergrade .22LR a couple weeks ago, and finally got a chance to shoot it this morning. I mounted a SS 10X42 HD to it with Talley LW mounts.

Hey, what can I say... it's an Anschutz!

It's not only beautiful, but it has a fantastic trigger, bolt operation is extremely smooth, and fit and finish is great!

Oh, and it appears it has the potential to be a fair shooter...

This 5-shot group (50 yds) was with RWS 40 gr Target ammo. It's the first ammo I tried, as it was the only "match quality" ammo I had onhand at the moment.

I think I'm gonna grow to like this rifle!

Wow! Nice wood! I know you will enjoy it. They make very nice rifles. I know I love my 1717HB and 1416HB.

I have a couple of friends that have 22s on the Anschutz 54 actions. They both love them. One of them just gets his out and shoots it from time to time, and wont sell it to me. The other friend uses his for small bore silhouette matches and I don't think he would use anything else.
Nice score Ted.
