I am still interested in buying a Kahles CL 3X9X42 scope for my 30 06 Kimber Montana. I recently saw a photo of a Kimber 8400 wearing that scope and it looked way to big for the rifle, everything seemed to be out of proportion, was that just a bad picture or do you think the scope might be a bad fit for that rifle? Does anyone have a photo of a long action Kimber or similar type mountain  rifle wearing that scope?

Thanks

Sam

I have a CL 3-9X42 on my Kimber 84M right now.  It doesn't look too big at all.  It doesn't match the rifle quite as well as the Leupold 2.5-8X36 I had on it for a long time, but it's a lot more scope.  The CL's are not big, long scopes like some others.

_popupControl(); mwyates,
Thanks for responding, I've decided to go ahead and buy a Kahles, just can't make up my mind if I should get a 3X9 CL or KX model.
