I had a lyman auto dispenser/measure and it was ok.  Florescent light made it inconsistent at times and I had to change the light over my reloading bench to get it to act right.

I've since switch to a Redding 30BR measure that I use vs the auto dispenser and have had much more consistent results loading by volume not weight

I have an rcbs. It seems to work well, i intetionally wired my outlets on a separate circuit because of the floresent light issue.

But i mostly just use it for load workups then use my drop dispenser and go by volume as well. It is way faster and i get excellent ammo.

I have the Lyman auto dispenser. It has given consistent, good results. Velocity is more consistent between shots than using a magnetic scale to set volume throws on the RCBS throw dispenser. No problems with the lights, but they are 10' above the floor. You do have to let it warm up a few minutes to calibrate properly.

Had a hornady for several years, it sucked. Now have RCBS, it is more consistent.

There is a high dollar option calibrated by powder, dispenses one grainule at a time via a tooth specific to the powder size. It is supremely accurate - and about $3,000, plus wheels for all the powders you use.

Sometimes "good enough" is good enough - and far better than factory ammo.

I have the RCBS Chargemaster.  My florescent lights don't seem to affect it as much as the power surge caused by the A/C, furnace, or clothes dryer.  Even at that variance is usually not more than .1 grain.

Lyman Gen 6. For my 6.5 it throws an ES of 26 SD of 9. If I have a bad day its on me.

RCBS Chargemaster.  Accuracy is excellent for small powder volume handgun loads, as well as for large rifle loads.  Works fine.  Wish it were a little faster.

Do you use a short section of drinking straw in the drop tube? It helps on the last grains of powder for consistency on the Lyman.

The gen6 comes with a plastic insert. So far it's working well.

Keep going...Any issues with any of the above.

The lyman for $125 seems dirt cheap if it is consistent and last that would be a great deal.

I've got the Lyman. It's OK, but it can be finicky. I've found myself re-calibrating it more than loading with it sometimes. I should have spent the extra money and got the RCBS. Lyman did come out with a new generation after I got mine.

The RCBS Charge Master works much better if you secure a piece of a arrow shaft in the drop tube. If I do go over it's only .1 and it doesn't happen often .

RCBS 1500 been working perfect for 10 years.  If it broke today, I would order another immediately

IMO, more accurate than my old balance beam (which I gave to a young reloader starting out) and a whole lot more enjoyable

MacDonalds straws about the right size.  Reduces over runs but does not eliminate them.  But the unit will tell you if it ran over and just use a small spoon or scoop to scoop out a couple of granules and you're dead on

One possible tip for the RCBS Chargemaster.

The powder pan that came with mine would develop static electricity (unlike the pans that came with their balance beam scales).  This, of course, was a pain!

I solved it by ordering a pan for their balance beam mechanical scale, and using it instead of the one that came with the Chargemaster.

RCBS may have solved this problem, since I got mine years ago.  If not, this solution worked just fine.

I use the Lyman 55 with the Lyman 1000 scale. I started out with the Lee disk measure with their scale as well. Used those for 20 years. About 8 years ago I bought a lyman 55 powder thrower. WOW!
I recently got the Lyman 1000 scale. Again, WOW! Add the Frankford arsenal heavy weight steel powder dribbler to the mix and kablammo. Pure f@#king magic! The Lee scale would swing forever. The lyman is smooth and stable which equates to speed! The 55 throws very consistent and almost eliminates the need for the dribbler.
