Anybody fool around with this outfit? Thinking of upgrading my stock on the CZ 452 and noticed they offer a few variations.

Thanks.

I have one on a 10-22. It was a perfect fit.

I have one of their laminated stocks as well. No complaints. I bought a rough blank rather than a finished, drop-in stock, as their Classic style (previously called the "JRS Classic") was a tad chunkier than I prefer. I then carved, sanded, inlet, and finished it to my own profile.

Their laminated stocks come from Rutland Plywood, who provides the vast majority of the blanks used for laminated gunstocks.

Thanks for the responses, Friends.

I just received a PM from another forum from Boyds asking them if they had a CZ stock offering for a thinner barrel profile and they said not at this time. Seems all their CZ stocks are for the fatties.

If your thinkin of a laminate just lay some walnut strips down the channel and cut to fit. Unless your lookin a drop in. In that case never mind!!

I built a .223  on a 1988 Sav 110 action with a Boyd's tactical stock this week.
Yesterday I went to the range and shot it. I did 3 shots to sight it in at 50 yards and then 4 groups at 100 yards:
1) 0.426"
2) 0.533"
3) 0.533"
4) 0.900"

I have bought other stocks from Boyd's.

Other than their website sucks like Leupold's, I have no complaints.
But I can go to SWFA web site and find Leupold info, I cannot for Boyd's.

Clark, did you use an aftermarket trigger, or have the factory trigger tuned?

Yes, indeed that is very nice, Roy!

I just picked up a used Rem M7 Custom MS in 7-08 off Gunbroker last week that has a laminated Mannlicher style full length stock, and mounted a Kahles CL 2-7X36 on it. I really like the looks and feel of that little rifle!
