I have a fixed 10 SWFA scope and I've noticed that the lens in the eyepiece end has started to get bubbles in it.  Ever seen a car with a bad window-tinting job, how the tinting has started to bubble away from the glass in various spots?  It looks like that.

The scope hasn't been exposed to the elements or anything; I keep it in my gun locker in the garage.  It's in San Diego so it can get warm in there but not blisteringly hot or anything.

Is there anything that can be done about this?

Can you notice it when you look through the scope on just at the objective lens?  I've seen a few scopes that look like they have blisters as well but never noticed a deterioration in image quality.

Either way give SWFA a call and I'm sure they will take care of you.  1-972-SCOPE-IT
