Hello folks,

Well, last week finally got my Burris Fastfire III (3MOA Dot) to mount on my Benelli Supernova for slug slinging

Now just need to get out and shoot the thing!

Just in case anyone is interested, here's the SpeedBead before the FastFire Red Dot is mounted

I like the looks of those. People have variable luck getting the mount to stay put.

So far points pretty well! Not shot it yet though.

I will report back on zero (To be honest, likely to only be 25-50yds max so not sure if I will be able to give much on how well it holds zero) but will tell you what I can.

I tried to sight in the ports shotguns with rifle sights and slugs a while back. At 50 yards they were barely minute of torso. At 25 yards they were almost capable of head shots. Anyway the rifle sights made it easier for the guys to put all their rounds on the target at qualification.

From what I see, if you can get 6" at 50yds with a smooth bore slug gun means you've got a shooter!

That is a very interesting mount. I have an SBE and have never changed the shims nor thought of one for a mount.

Thanks, it certainly seemed a preferrable idea to finding a gunsmith to drill and tap the action...

I do wonder about an SBE or Maybe a Super Vinci for wildfowling
