Looking for feedback on these 2 scopes (or suggestions for a better fit for less than $1k).  I'm looking for something in the 1-4 // 1-5 // 1-6 // 1.5-6 mag range that will serve dual purpose -- short range hunting (.358 Winchester) and punching paper/playing shooting games at my range.  The hunting application is mainly dusk and dawn in dark timber and makes good glass important (priority #1 on my list) while I prefer a reticle (priority #2) with elevation hashmarks for range games and playing with handloads.  Illumination is a plus since my preferred reticle is not a traditional low light reticle, and I don't need exposed turrets so caps are desirable (or turret locks).  The perfect candidate (hits all my wants) is probably the Kahles K16i  SI1 or Meopta R2 1-6x24 w/ BDC-3, but since those 2 don't come close to my desired price range, I'm trying to identify those options that hit MOST of my needs for less than $1k.  I've got a Leica ERi 2.5-10x42 w/ IBS that currently sits atop that rifle that I REALLY like, but want to move it to another rifle (and think a lower mag range scope is a better fit for this rifle.)  I can find both scopes mentioned in the $600-$800 price range.  Thoughts???

You may find that a thin, wire ret with hash marks is not your friend in low light...
Was sure I had a point when I started this post...

That's what I have and use right now on the rifle in Leica's IBS and get along great with it.  Illumination is also on the want list with this scope though for that reason.
