I have a M700 VSSF II in .204 and just bought a 8-32x44 Signature scope for it and the rifle came with a set of weaver style bases. Can I use the Zee rings or do I need special extension rings?
Thanks! Ian |

I don't see why not, the 700 action is not long by any stretch of the imagination.
But be sure you have steel bases! The Zee rings are steel, and pretty darned good too. I have them on 2 rifles. they are solid. But if you use them on aluminum bases, it wont be good, the Zee rings will mash the softer aluminum. If you do not have steel bases, I highly recommend the Warne Maxima bases (available here at SWFA). |

If you like the Burris, then you should consider the Burris Signature rings. Edited by stork23raz - June/09/2010 at 06:50 |
