I am trying to decide between a Bushnell Elite 4200 6-24x50 that I can get for $570 on SWFA or a Sightron SIII 6-24x50 that I can get for $650. Which one will most likely have a brighter, clearer picture and will the $80 extra for the Sightron be worth it. I've heard that the Bushnell has a low range of adjustment, will this be a serious problem? |

I would guess a complete toss-up. |

Tough call. These two are pretty close optically and mechanically.
It will really come down to what you plan to use the rifle for. If you plan to shoot long range where you need a lot of W/E adjustment, new production Sightron S3 has about 100MOA range (about twice that of the Bushnell). Sightron also has a little more eye relief so if this is going on a rifle with some recoil that could make the difference. ILya |

Is it 100 MOA of travel in each direction on the SIII or 100 MOA of travel either way?
It'll be used on a .17 HMR CZ 453 out to 320 yards

Edit: I mean is it 100 MOA in each direction or 100 MOA of travel overall?
