HAve a ruger ( ok i know some of u dont like the rugers) m77 7mm mag.
Have been looking at many scopes. Brother has 7mm and is in love with
his LPS leupold 4x14,5x50 like it too but still shopping! Have looked
at the zeiss conquest nice! HVae looked at the bushnell 4200 of about
same...very nice for the price ( have a 3200 on my encore muzzleloader
and like it), schmidt and bender pricey they that much better ? Have
read alot about the new burris black diamond but have yet to kay hands
on one. Any suggestions ?????

Uplander, don't worry about what some of the people think about the Rugers, you'll soon find that what people like the most is what they have themselves. I have them all and can tell you directly that you have a dependable, good looking gun. As far as your scope of choice, that too will show that you will get a lot of replies from those that down many brands because they have only one brand. If you are used to the recoil I would suggest going with any of the good 50mm objectives. But if you are a little recoil shy, you might want to look into the 40mm objective range, due to the different height you have to mount the defferent scopes.
