Were I to purchase that saw, my wife would have it almost as soon as the box was opened... maybe I'll get two...

I made a similar jig out of hardwood and use a chop saw..... I've not had much luck with HF power tools lasting long term.

Definitely something to think about.  I purchased one of their heavy duty air compressors a number of years ago... it failed at a critical time a couple of weeks later... replaced by HF with a similar model that failed within a few days... replaced by HF with a Campbell-Hausfeld which has now lasted over 15 years under some pretty heavy usage.  Purchased a couple of portable table saws... long ago thrown away and replaced with a Grizzly.  Purchased a contractor-grade saw attachable sawdust vacuum from them and it is still going after over 10 years use.  Every hand tool I've ever purchased from them has broken.
If you listen to that little saw on the video, it sounds under duress.

A friend bought 3 harbor freight winches last season, all 3 failed.

just buy two of them so when it fails you can keep going.

For $35 whoopie if it does fail. There are several of that same saw branded under different names.
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

We have a HF store where I live. Been there a few times in the beginning, but not since. I have purchased a few hand tools there, but nothing else. Looked at a lift for my mower, but wasn't sure it would make the trip home in one piece. Cheap tools which serve a purpose, but in my experience make things worse. I do have one set of wrenches that have served me okay though. A 1 1/2 to 3 inch combination wrench set.
