Would anybody know if Remington makes a detachable clip for a Rem 700 VTR in 308 cal?

they do make them. i just cant remember who sells them. maybe type it in a search engine some where & see what you come up with

I think any detachable short action kit will work if its for the 700.  Google search turned up a few have you tried that "Remington VTR detachable mag kit" ?

Well I went to rems website and didn't really see anything that would lead me to believe that they offered them as an aftermarket item.

It looks like they are offering only a 4 round flip out, I was looking for a completely detachable mag, say maybe a 10 round or so.

Don't try to go cheap here or you will have a lot, a lot of feeding issues.  I shouldn't have posted the cableas kwik clip as I haven't heard that great of things about it but its an option.
