Thats what this post is about. What is your hands down favorite factory bonded (balllistic silvertip, TSX) ammunition?

You don’t know what you don’t know.

And those who don’t know and never try, never will.

I pretty much reload for everything I shoot now, but there are a couple of manufactured rounds that I've had great luck with.

1.) 25-06 Federal plain box using 117gr Seirra Pro-Hunter.  These were extremely accurate in my Ruger 77MKII.  I know longer own the rifle.

2.) 30-06  PMC using the orginal Barnes X bullet in 180gr.  While most reports for the original Barnes X bullet were less than steller for accuracy, my Abolt loved them.

3.) 12GA Remington 2 3/4" Copper Solid.  Best round for my Mossberg 695 slug gun.

Black Hills for .308 and 300 WM.

I reload most of my own stuff, and prefer Amax bullets for precision and accuracy.

Took a 237-pound white tail a few weeks ago with a 168-grain Amax.  He didn't drop (didn't want to mess up that beautiful early-season cape) but took about 2 steps and folded up.

I don't really recommend Hornady factory rounds as they seem to be very sensitive to temp and other factors, but their Amax bullets are tits.

Reload for almost everything so far except my 45/70.  Been using the Buffalo Bore 350 gr stuff for it.

Grizzly Ammo loaded some "special" hunting rounds for my .458 Lott.  Outstanding ammo...

Federal Premium .30-06 165g Nosler Ballistic Tip.  I've killed a truckload of deer with this round and only 2 ran out of sight and that was because of my poor shot placement on those 2 particular deer.

Federal Fusion shot really well out of my .308 and was effective on both deer and elk. I handload everything now.
