Hey all! We’ve finally made the trip down to Texas back in August and have finally gotten truly settled in this past week. Look forward to making this my daily stop like before. Hope everyone is doing alright and look forward to the conversations.

Welcome back Mike! Am I understanding correctly that you just bought a new home in Melissa?

I lived in McKinney for 10 years, so I'm very familiar with that area. I saw a tremendous amount of growth during that time. I moved away 7 years ago, and haven't been back up there in about 5 years. I'm sure it's grown a lot more since then.

It's good to be where you want to be, and not where you have to be.
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

Glad you are in Texas, Mike...

I hope to someday move back to Texas, my REAL home... Truly "God's Country"...

Ted, I grew up out in Bridgeport so there was a time I remember 380 being a two lane from Greenville to Jacksboro. We will end up moving away from here once the kids are out of school back out to the country on some land. Where’d you move off to?

Brandon, you ain’t wrong about that.

Hope you and the family are doing well over there. I was thinking of you when Michael hit.

I remember back in the nineties when we lived in Kilgore, if we were going up to the Panhandle we would go through McKinney to MISS DFW!!

Well, NOT ANYMORE!!!
