First post, so hello to everybody on this forum and thanks to SWFA for hosting it.
I've been doing a LOT of research at this and other sites for scopes for my Armalite AR10A4 and RRA LAR15. I do believe you guys have talked me into trying a Super Sniper 10x42 for the AR10, and possibly the Millett DMS-1 for the AR15 (unless I stick with the original plan and use an Aimpoint CompML3).
Question, Will the stock 30mm scope mount (Armalite EX0022) be adequate for a range of 700-800 yards with the AR10, or should I use a tapered base?

With the SS you should be good to go. It has 110 MOA total travel I
believe and you are only going to need around 26 MOA
to reach 800 yards. You should be good to go.

The Super sniper has plenty of internal adjustment. The Aimpoint Comp M4 is a better choice because it uses a AA battery and lasts forever.

Thanks guys, for some reason I couldn't find the MOA specs on the SS. And thanks for the HU on the CompM4; I hadn't looked at that yet.
