99 grand cherokee, i have firestone destinations on my pickup and they seem to work ok, whatever i get, it must do pretty good in snow, the highway near my house drifts pretty bad and doesnt get plowed right away, so i want my wife to have good tires

+1 on the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo's. Excellent tire choice!!  These seem to work well on snow and ice and wet streets and are good off road too.

Just to be different,  I run Goodyear Forturas on my 01 F150 at 65K they still had a lot of rubber on them but they started to act squirrelly in the rain. So I replaced them.

Those are what everyone is putting on their trucks and jeeps here in central Utah.  The tire stores say they are the best selling light truck tire out on the market right now, at least in our area.  They are claiming very good all year traction.

Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

I have GoodYear MT/R's on my truck and they have very good traction for snow, mud, and off-roading.  They are a little noisier than your average all terrain tire though.

I understand the Bridgestones are outperforming the Michelins right now.

The Bridgestone Revo's had been the number one A/T for a few years but I have been out of the loop for a couple of years because I don't need new tires.

Follow this link to tirerack.com. It shows the Revo's still rated excellent based on 59,000,000 miles. Like the 2008 Optics Scale, It's never perfect and there will be those who disagree. Big%20Grin The 4 tires ahead of the Revo's don't have near the amount of miles tested and not as an aggressive tread pattern.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=ORAT

Today without doing any research, I would still go with either the Revo's or the BFG A/T's for the type of driving I do in my 4x4's.
