That does sound like a bit much to do without some conditioning.  You said you have old folks syndrome like alot of us here.

So where did you go?  Along the Susquehanna?

No, we fished locally in Perry County. Bull Run and Shermans Creek. Nailed 4 rainbows and a couple of rock bass.
Hey Shooter.. You live any where near Pottersdale? We have a cabin there....

No im east of Hershey but i've been up that way a # of times. My fathers good friend has a cabin just north of Renovo with is just a bit northeast of Pottersdale. I've hunted around Clearfield as well. Very good turkey hunting. I took a 22lb 9 1/2 bearded gobbler in Sproul State Forrest, west of the Kettle Creek dam last spring.

Thanks G!
Im glad you like him, he's still a pup but he's very smart.. We just love him!! Butch is a stubborn lil sh*t, some of that he will out grow... Im spending alot of time with him, working with him...When he's trained in about 6 months I will get him a buddy so he does not get lonely, probably a female pit..

Yes that was Kathy and I in the pics, in our back yard designed by me. I should send you pics of the entire grounds, all my life Ive wanted the chance to landscape a yard exactly the way I wanted and I finally got the chance. I had over 800 ft. of concrete curbing put down in gradual curves I designed as well, plus a Lifted Island with assorted Pines and shrubbery and Lillys.. Its beautiful!Wink

Anyone here do any upland hunting (pheasants, quail, chukars)?

My best friends family runs an awesome outfit out of Blain, PA if you're into that. Hyd-A-Del shooting preserve. I've worked as a guide there in the past and hunted numerous times.

Just thought i'd pass along the info for anyone in the PA area.

It pains me but the savages are getting a great reviews out the box and later on you can just change the barrel with a couple tools for cheap too.

What SVT said....

Savages are incredibly accurate out of the box and even the low end stuff is quality built.

With that being said i'm going with a 700 from SniperCentral with a few bells and whistles. I don't think you can be a mid-long range shooter and not own one. It's just one of those things you need to have on a gun list and check off at some point. I have no doubts ill be able to get great results with the Remy.
