I like the old outlaws like Waylon, Merle, Cash and Hank Jr. but not Willie too much.

I used to work for Willie, Wille Nelson's Whiskey River, Greenville Ave, Dallas.  Also worked for David Allen Coe, David Allen Coe's Yellow Rose of Texas, Greenville Ave, Dallas.  Willie was OK, Coe.. not.

David Allen Coe (forgot about him), he is the leader of the outlaws.  He used to do the Tulsa Gun Show pretty regular.  He'd pull in, in a long Cadillac limo with a license plate that read, DAC.

He's got some great songs but most of them can not be published here.  Here's a few of my favorites.

Kickboxer, I bet you can tell some good stories.  I'd love to sit around the campfire with ya sometime and hear them.

The standing order was that when Coe came in, screw the top off a fresh quart of Jack Black and hand it to him on his way to the stage.  He drank it all before he left...
