A 30mm body will allow more room for the adjustments to travel. More M.O.A. with a larger tube.

Chris,
That is a very good explanation on the differences between 1" and 30mm scopes. Mostly more adjustment range is all you get with a 30mm scope. The European scopes definitely make better use of the 30mm maintube. |

No they have 30mm parts inside not 1inch parts.It's a well made scoope and is quite rugged.
