I have a good amount of scopes. some fixed power and one 2x7  a few 3x9. now my question, i put a simmons on my little custom.22.just to see how well it will shoot out to 50 yards, when i brought the target in to 25 yards,my 2x7 and 3x9 wont focus down to where the target is clear.either the cross hairs clear. and the targets not.. or the targets clear and the cross hairs not..

what scope will focus down to 25 yards or less..
I want to put this on a new CZ 452,,I like a scope that will focus down, to 25 yards or less.

I know that a Weaver RV9 3-9x32 w/AO will. So will a Weaver V24 6-24x42 w/AO (50ft) so I suspect that the V16 4-16x42 w/AO probably will to. I've also used a Nikko-Sterling Nighteater 3-10x40 SF (not in the same league) at 25yds. Even my Mueller Eradcator 8.5-25x50 w/AO is marked for 20yds but I haven't tested it that close. Weavers are always my first choice for tricked out target 22s.

I used to own a CZ453 Varmint and the (90 degree?) bolt throw forces you to mount the scope up pretty high. High enough that I'd go with a 42mm objective scope like a V16. That CZ is plenty accurate enough to take advantage of the extra magnification.

This is the V24 on another custom 10/22...
