I went down to the loading room to get caught up. I was 45 into a batch of 50 when this happen. I have loaded around 2,000 loads with this. I feel it shouldn’t have broke this soon into the game. I have sent Lyman an email asking what to do about it. I hope they are like RCBS and just send me another one but we will see. I’m sure they will do the right thing. I’ll keep ya’ll posted. P.S. this is the only problem I have has with any of Lyman’s loading items.

Geez Brandon, I swear we could lock you in an empty closet with two bowling balls and in five minutes you'd have lost one and broken the other!

Thats cause Pyro loads primers one at a time into that Rock Chucker press!

Aint that the truth. My grandad always told me I could bust a steel ball with a glass hammer.

I use the press. I have a good feel for it and it is fast for me.

I bought a hand primer because I never could get into a rythm with the primer arm on my rock chucker. Adds one more step, but for me anyway leads to less spilt powder on the floor!Bucky

Best reason to get a handheld autoprimer is that you can prime anywhere, watching TV, in the bathroom, enjoying the backporch or deck.  Your not tied to the bench, like with a press.

No, I just knew I'd get wailed on if I posted that, because I know that a lot of guys prime with their presses.

Thanks for the links. I like #1, But I enjoy doing it with my press and it keeps my in the loading room a tad bit longer.

The press mounted priming arms work but what I like about the hand primers is that I can feel when my primer pockets have enlarged to the point that the casing is wore out by the way it feels when I seat them.  Enlarged primer pockets, for me,are the first things that show my casings done for.

That is exactly why I like the hand tool myself. And you don't have to go crazy in cost either as there are tools available from RCBS, Lee, Hornady and K&M that do the same thing as the Sinclair.
