Been looking at these weaver style bases from EGW. What is the difference between 20 moa and 0 moa styles, they both look the same from what I can see on the website? I assume that regular Warne Max rings will work with these. Still deciding what kind of base/rings for my Tikka.

A 20MOA base means the base is canted forward 20 minutes of angle - giving you more elevation adjustment in the scope than with a flat or 0MOA base.
I have several Tikkas and use Talley rings with them, gret stuff, integral base, very strong and light. |

I like the idea of mounting a base to the tikka receiver and LW Talley's definitely fit the bill especially since they combine base and ring. I love warne rings but there's something about mounting them directly on the Tikka rail that I don't like, would rather mount a base first.
Medium LW Talleys and my 3x9-40 Zeiss sounds like a good setup. I know that lows will fit but being 6'3", a slightly higher line of site will better fit my form.

Talley is the way to go. I had Warnes on a different Tikka, they work well but are a pain to mount. Enjoy the Tikka and the Talleys, great combination! ![]() |

I have an EGW base on my Tikka and I am veyr impressed with the quality and workmanship you get for the money.
I ran Warne rings on this rifle for quite some time and they worked exceptionally well. However, I use it to test scope, so I switched to EGW base. ILya
