Non BCS teams can't compete for a BCS National Championship.  
Right? If I'm wrong, help me understand.
Your conference for better or worse decided against joining the BCS.
 
Isn't it sort of like the best team in the Canadian Football League demanding to play the AFC Champion in the Super Bowl??

I honestly like Bama way better, but think Miles is going to pull one out. Les played too conservatively against Florida this year and it cost him. He won't make that same mistake twice.

Yes, my humble'd Sooners are long gone but I really didn't expect them to be contenders this year so it's not suprising. 
 
I didn't shed any tears over USC.  
 
I'm just sick of seeing Florida and the SEC dominate. 
 
I must admit, I would like to see Oregon or Boise get a shot.  Was impressive how they put the smackdown on USC. 
 
No offense to the Iowa fans but if they go up against B'ama or Florida it will be a trackmeet.  AND I'm still pissed at how the REF's won the game for Iowa against Michigan State!!  That helmet to helmet call by the refs on 3rd down in the final drive was total BS... even the announcers agreed it was a very bad call.  The Dback knocked him back to gradeschool and did not lead with his head.
 
Texas deserves it.  Every year they get close, so it would be nice to see them in the spot light.

I too am just stirring the pot, Mr. Kettle.  Being born and raised in Florida and the fact that both sides of my family have lived there for 5 and 7 generations makes me feel just a tad protective of HOME!  I have lived on both the east and west coasts as well as Miami.  Both my parents are Gators and the vast majority of relatives are Gators.  Walk softy old son!
 
Nobody stays on top forever, it is all cyclic!  Good programs and coaches will always have the better teams!  As far as the entire system...I agree it sucks the big one!  Bad Officiating and favoritism should not be allowed, anywhere.  I do agree that was a total BS call on the helmet to helmet call.  That call should have been reviewed and overturned.  No bad call should cost any team a game!
 
I would love to see a new nationwide system that fairly grades and matches teams!  I sure don't have one....do you?

I'm surrounded by them.  My work partner is a Gator Alum.  Was a pole vaulter back in the early 80's.  EVERYDAY he does the Pledge of Allegiance to Tebow.  He's even driving down for the game this weekend....... This is just sic sic sic......
