Guys, if ever your going to go somewhere with really drastic altitude change get some Cataplex E2 supplement. The stuff works great. I use to run a lot, went out to my brothers in Colorado and tried running a few miles and I was suckin' wind had to stop thought I was going to pop a gasket. He gave me this stuff to take once in the morning and once at night that next day I ran six miles like I was here in B'ham. I can't tell you how it works but I can say it does. It's made by Standard Process.

go figure, the horns havent lost a non conference road game in like 10 years they were a 33.5 point favorite they are way to good to stay down long, which is what i figured would happen.

They mentioned that Charlie Weis was back to calling them. I thought that was bad play calling too. |

I thought that play calling was how Charlie earned his stripes? They had a ton of chances to win the game. At least Lou Holtz will shut the fudge up about ND being in the title game.

Well, OSU played Southern Cal close, but still ended up on the short end of the stick....as usual.
I think JT is as classy a guy as there is in college sports, but you really have to wonder if he can get the Bucks out of that BAD place they find themselves in YEAR AFTER YEAR.
Heres how I see OSU, because "THE" Ohio State Buckeyes always has the same type of team. Good D, (especially LB's) decent QB, strong special teams, super running game, a VERY gratuitous early poll ranking each year, (even after they humiliate themselves the year before in a big bowl game loss), unbelievable fan support.....but they always seem to find ways to blow big games, at the end of the year.
At least on paper they "should" win "some" of the big games they find themselves in every year, right?
Congrats on Big Blue's win, Doug!

Thanks Mark, that was a good game to watch.
Rich Rodriguez has had a year to bring the new spread offense to Michigan. Tate Forcier looks like the guy to make it go, for now. I think this offense could be a good thing for the Big Ten. The conference will now get to see the spread/no huddle at least once a year when they play Michigan. Usually they only see it in non-conference games. |

Almost had his 6th yesterday in Knoxvegas, but it was nullified when UCLA commited a defensive pentalty late in the game against the Vols.
Outstanding job, Rahim!!

Iowa whooped up on Iowa State in Ames. It was nice to listen too. But the game that made me the happiest was Mich defeating ND. Got to watch the last 10 min of the game. Pure joy. Ohio, well, like someone stated earlier, the Buff Bills of the BCS. Love my Big 10 but they can't beat PAC-10 or SEC teams in big bowl games.
For any Iowa State fans... Cyclone Crunch cereal is now available at some grocery stores in central Iowa. The cereal sells at Fareway stores for $2.99 a box. People who have tried the cereal tell KCCI that it tastes a lot like Captain Crunch cereal. The red and gold colored box features ISU athletics and offers fun facts about the Clone program. DISCLAIMER: Fareway recommends to fans that they eat Cyclone Crunch out of the box, as it is nearly impossible to get it into a Bowl. FDA warns that there is a serious risk of choking, especially towards the end of the box. Edited by SD Dog - September/14/2009 at 10:05 |
