I could use something for a new rimfire benchrest target/match build I'm slowly piecing together. How do these compare with Weaver V24? The Weaver is my usual 1st choice for a Rimfire target rifle. How about with a Simmons 6-24x44 ProHunter? I have a ProHunter laying around that I could use while saving for another Weaver.

I have one mounted on a heavy kicking spring gun. I don't know how it compares to the Weaver or the Simmons. I can say it compares favorably to the 6-24 Burris I have on another rifle. The reticles is easy to use and is visible in low light. Once I had it dialed in the adjustments stayed put. Finally, the glass is really hard to beat for the money and I would say this scope rates a buy at full price. At 70% off it is a steal.

I have a Simmons Whitetail 6-24x50 and would rate the Vortex Crossfire an even tie. Also the Simmons was $30.00 dollars cheaper.I shot over 2 thousand rounds with the Simmons and Vortex with no problems. Both scopes are mounted on a Ruger 10/22.I hope these scopes last, they are cheap and a good value. The optics are clear but once you start going past 16 power on both scopes image quality starts to get a little fuzzy on the edges. For under $100 its a good deal.
