Nice Stick. I spent most of the day on the range. Productive but muskets can be a bit odd everything nice and tight then where the H did that one go. >>>===========> then out bow hunting where Bambi spotted me before I spotted him.

Jason, If you don't like the name Silvia (which I do) you could always name her after one of the Banger Sisters... Suzette maybe?

I am kind of becoming fond of the name Silvia. So far I have Lucy, Suzette, and Belinda, but no reasons why. I just figured after black betty and white wilma were taken, she is kind of silvery, so silvia would work......but keep 'em coming.

That's the one I grew up listening to and loving.
Now I'm not saying it's better than Waylon's version. (Wait a minute... well yes. Yes I am saying that Don Williams' version is better than Waylon's version!)

I prefer Waylon's version. I like the Gentle Giants other songs though like "Lord I Hope This Day is Good". Sure Trigger hopes the same thing when he takes her out.

Well, I think I'm pretty well done tinkering with Silvia's load development......at least for this bullet. This load seems to be pretty stable, and the speed I want. Before shooting this group, I left one of the rounds outside to see how temperature was going to affect it. (It was 4 degrees when this was shot) That is the bottom left shot that kind of fell outside the group. It was about 50 fps slower than the rest. (The other rounds waited in the truck, where it was a bit warmer.) I was happy to see it land that close to the rest of the shots though. I've tested it in enough conditions to be confident it's a good load. It's not the tightest shooting load I've run into, but the most consistant in different conditions.
