   Need some help. I have a hardtime understanding how these type of scopes/sights work. When I looked down the sights with my cheek resting on the stock. I can wiggle my head and watch the reticule move. How do I know if I am looking down the sights right to get an accurate shot.

	Hey Veggie, First off,WELCOME to OT!! Although I've never used that particular reticle,with the ones I've used with dots it didn't matter where your cheek rested as long as the dot was on target(and of course sighted in)you would hit your point of aim.

	My question is how do I know if I am looking down the sights correctly if the reticule moves when my face moves.

	If we're talking the reticle actually moving off the target when you move your head it could be a parallax issuse and there may be a scope problem. I don't have a red dot sight at the house right now so can't check to see if it does as yours does but I don't believe it does.

	To see if you have parallax just have the red dot scope so the red dot is on a spot on your wall or convenient object (or outside on your own house or some thing besides your neighbors)...when you move if the red dot stays on the target it doesn't matter if it appears to move or not....it is YOU that is moving....it's still aiming where the projectile is going to go. If it doesn't stay on the object or target....you gotta sight in and make sure you always mount the rifle properly each time.

	I am going to try this tomorrow. Gonna find some way to point it at something steadily. Prob go out in backyard and law it down on a table.

	That'll work bud, if it does have parallax error just be consistent when mounting the rifle...find the most natural, comfortable hold for you and practice bringing the rifle to this position over and over again. Really you should do it even if parallax-free, but you would just have more wiggle room for error.

	Aimpoint's electronic reflex sights are manufactured using a unique patented double front lens which eliminates the parallax error inherent in other red dot sights. This feature allows the shooter to get on target more quickly and shoot more accurately, because the dot does not need to be centered inside the sight; if the dot is on it, then you will hit it. With the rest of them your exact same cheekweld does make a difference just like it does on traditional optics.

	Yea I know AIMPOINT is better. I'm trying to find a comp ML3 for cheap.
