Crimped 7mm Mag.

 

This is a pic of what some of the Brass looks like that I want to reload. I just polished it, the 3 is for what I believe is about the 3rd time to be reloaded..So again my question is on the slight cuts at the top of the brass. Im not sure but this is probably due to crimping. The concern is , Is it safe to reload?

The brass all looks pretty good length wise. I did not think the cuts or whatever you would call them would really matter. I thought it might be a good idea to run by someone though. Im using 150gr TTSX with IMR 4834. Im starting at the bottom and working my way up in .5gr increases looking for that sweet spot..I do not care if Im on the lower end velocity wise or not, I just want it to be as accurate as I can get it...The Old 7mm Mag. Bar rifle will be a back-up for my upcoming Elk hunt.  My primary rifle will be a 7mm-08 shooting 140gr. TTSX ..Im not all that excited about it though, I should be since Ive not been able to go for years....Finding a place to go where the walking is somewhat easy has been a problem in the Elky dept. this year. Hopefully I can shoot one out the door. I would not say that online but the State will let me since Ive got the disability permit in my pocket, and they will let me shoot a Cow too during Spike season, otherwise I would not bother..You can bet that as soon as I knock a Cow down , people will be on there cell phones to Mr. Game Warden...This could be kinda comical Earl....
