5-20 is my favorite 4x erector as well. Great write up. Makes all the waiting that was incurred worth it. Big thumbs up for SWFA for sticking to their guns, and getting it right, before selling them.

The 5-20 has my hands shaking. Cant wait. The world needs a GOOD 5-20 Scope at a price those of us not of rich man stock can afford.

I agree; the 5-20 will be a big hit. The utility of a 4.5-14 and the top end of a 6.5-20 in one makes good use of the 4:1 zoom ratio.

I am with you on that Jon. I am testing a Vortex Razor 5-20x50 right now and I like the magnification range. It is a good fit for a mid/long range precision rifle. ILya

At the beginning of this thread the OP - Mike eluded to a 2.5 x 10 illuminated SS scope.
Could someone confirm of deny that this is in the works for 2011? SWFA leads us to believe that there were/are new things in store for 2011....... was the new 1x4 scope it, or is there more?

I called them earlier today and asked about the 2.5x10x42 and they didn't know what I was talking about. I told him I saw a post on SH that referred to 3 new scopes coming out and two of the three have been released (1x4 and 5x20) but not the 2.5x10.
I guess someone had a wet dream because he said it wasn't happening. Too bad, I was interested in getting one of them. |

Chris has hinted that he has plans to continue to bring out new models. Just give it time and I am sure we will continue to see new power ranges and new features.
I highly doubt all his employees are in the loop on the SS scope details. |

Maybe so. But the guy I talked to (don't remember his name) went and asked someone else before he answered me. I hope your right, it looks like it would be a nice setup. Even if it does happen it would not appear to be any time soon. Unless someone out there has inside info to the contrary.
