Im looking for a rifle scope to put on my Savage 16 in a .270WSM. I've narrowed it down to these two. Both are comparable in price, however Im hearing differing opinions as to which to buy.
Please discuss, I know that the 3200 is a solid scope, but I dont know much about the Aetec. Eric |

What model of the 3200 are you looking at? The rainguard on the Bushnell alot of times tends to push people toward them when they are compared with other scopes of similar price and quality. I dont know much about the simmons scopes tho.

I had an early Aetec and it was o.k. (not great). IMO, the Bushy 3200 would be a better choice if only because of the Rainguard feature.

The 3200 hands down is a better scope in all regards, other than maybe price.

Also I used an Elite 3200 10X for a while and even tested it out in nasty weather once....If your looking for a scope under $500 that has a coating that helps combat fog and moisture drops the Elites are the only option in my book.... It can mean the difference in a shot and a lost trophy!
