I'd like to thank everyone at this point with their help on previous question, and now that I've decided I am having a heck of a time finding a rifle chambered in 6mm rem, any recommendations. I'd be grateful for the help.

with a 90 to 100 grain bullet it is far faster than the .243 and I have a large bore, the alternative would be a 25'06 which are rather common, I've checked plenty of ammo manufacturers' and the ammo is available but the rifles are rather hard to find

100 fps isnt really far faster, but ok. if you want more speed with a bullet in that 100-115gr range the 25-06 would be a better choice any way.

go to gun broker and look for a rem 788 in a 6mm.

You might have to go with a custom built one or find a used one.  I cannot find anything either.
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

Isn't 6mm what "everybody who's anybody" is shooting in BR these days?  Not disparaging anyone, not saying it is right or wrong, but isn't 6mm the "hot ticket" in BR?

What about a 240 wby, now thats a screamer of a 6mm and probably easier to find.

Pyro, whats the difference in those two?  I don't know much about ballistics other than how to reload what i have.

the 6br is a target specific case, very short and slightly fat. its like the .243wssm but not as much case capacity. where the .244/6mm rem. is like the .243 case length is 2.233 as opposed to the .243 which is 2.045. the 6br is very short 1.560 oal only holds about 30gr of powder.

the 6ppc is similar to the 6br in size but holds less powder still.

Was the 6mm remington based on the 7x57 case?

The 6mm Remington has a faster twist barrel than the .244 Remington. The reason is that people wanted to use the heavier bullets. So Remington bagging on the success of the 7mm Remington rebadged stuff.  Nice guns but never quite as popular as the .243.

Me? If I had to have one... I'd find a donor action and get it rebarreled.  Lot faster and better QC than finding a used one.

I have seen Some Ruger #1 rifles chambered in this caliber. If you can use a single shot, these are really nice.
How can we call it unalienable when we allow it to be suspended revoked or restricted?

That's just theory.
Your mileage may vary.
Every rifle shoots differently. I have a 6mm that started life as a Winchester 70 Featherweight (it's totally custom now). With 90-100 grain bullets, it is most accurate (1/3 MOA) with  mild reloads (1 grain of powder above the starting charge). If i tried to push those bullets fast ("the 6mm is faster" legend, you now), the rifle would shoot 2-2.5 MOA.
However, if i load 75 grain bullets, the thing shoots like a death ray from Hell.
