I'm looking at the mid length Gas system and a 16 to 20" Hbar or varmint barrel.  Want a ree float handguard too!  My lower is a Spikes Tactical with their standard trigger.  I have nothing to compare the trigger to.  Need to try a few different ones before I bother with a change out.

If you go 18 inch or longer get the full length gas system or it will be over gassed with the mid length.  The extra barrel length allows a lot more gas to be pushed into your receiver before the bullet leaves the barrel.  Getting the gas port closer to the end helps reduce that a little.

I knew the Short gas sytem was hard on parts but didn't realize the same pertained the to the mid-length with longer barrels!!!  Thanks for that!!!!
