Wow sounds like a great spot for kids. I bet they have a blast there. Does he have another business or work? Doesn't sound like that would bring in enough money to live on, if he's giving out free food.

Its actually a working 100ac farm.  He has a large cold water spring at the back of his property that feeds through the hatchery part then when big enough he moves them to the ponds.  He sells to local sportsman's club that stock area streams and ponds.  He only allows fishing on Sundays for 3  months in the spring, the rest of the time he is farming.

To add to this, purchase an external USB drive (NTFS preferred). The Ghost versions now a days let you pull single files from your backups. This is great if you've deleted an important file from your PC, you don't have to recover the entire system to retrieve that one file.  Thunbs Up

(Hunter, I think I've offered to send you a copy in the past, please let you know if you've decided to go that route.)

Except for deep sea fishing, and fishing like they do in "Second Hand Lions", I hate fishing...

IT IS!!!  Open March  thru May on Sundays 8 to 5pm.

We just got back 2.5 hours fishing 21 caught.   Thats 2 adults and an 8 yr old.    The little one caught the most fish.  I caught a 2 and a 3.5 lb Bow and a 2lb Stripper to bring home the other 5 were released.   Sis took 5 home.  Total cost $55.00...not too bad.

Helped out an older couple that obviously hadn't fished before.  He had her fishing a rig that would have worked in the Bay. Loco  He was using a new Zebco with trout hook small red worms and no weights.  Once I got them set up with #6s and two small split-shot and got them to switch to Trout PwrBait she quickly hooked and landed 3 bows avg 1.5 lbs then she landed a real nice Palomino Trout about 2.5lbs.  Boy was she excited, I had to do some quick ducking to avoid a kiss.  Course her husband started getting a little jealous....not of me,  of her out fishing him!  Smile

It was a good day, I enjoyed helping the newbies and got almost as much satisfaction from their catch as they did.  The Neice was more than happy and named her favorite fish Whacko.

Dan, I also have an extreme lack of patience. Except when fishing. Caught 5 large mouth yesterday, ranging from 1 to 3 pounds. Didn't bring any home, I always catch and release. I was going to post a pic, but my phone won't send the pic to my computer... Probably because the wind is whipping at about 60mph right now.
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

So, Dan, you can sit in a tree stand for half a day watching the grass grow but you can't sit still for 5 minutes behind a fishing pole???  I find thats is one of the best ways to de-stress myself,  especially on a beautiful day.Sorry

I agree with Bud.....

I'm a trout fisherman by heart though. I love being able to move around and fish a stream, rather than be sitting in a boat or 1 spot. I grew up right next to a stream where you could fish all day and not see another guy and catch some of the prettiest native brook trout you'll ever see.

Dan I feel your pain.
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

They asked me to come in early today to free up all the PSOs, so that they can do some special training tearing up cargo containers.
