How are the Burris 20X50 Landmark comp spotting scopes or the Comp 12-24X50?

There's a definate reason why they are willing to give these away with the purchase of their mid-priced riflescopes.  There is nothing inherently wrong with them, but there is nothing really right about them either.  They definately are not really great performers by any standard and you would be far better off buying a Bushnell Trophy or Discoverer, WindRiver Suquoia (sp?) or some other similarly mid-priced spotter.

What if the hokey pokey really is what it's all about?
