I want to put a red dot tactical-looking site on my pump action Mossberg Model 500. I also want to equip the weapon with a red laser and a flashlight so I decided to look into a piece of equipment that has all three (red dot, laser, and flashlight) all one one rail mounting piece. I've narrowed it down to two and need opinions.
Thanks, guys! No links to other optics vendors websites, please. Edited by cheaptrick - April/24/2011 at 08:40 |

Baska and BSA make crap for the most part. I would not trust one of those brands on a high recoil gun like a shotgun. Probably bust them in the first few rounds.

Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

I had a chance last weekend to use two Burris Fast Fire 4 MOA sights. One happened to be mounted on a 12 gauge semi auto and the other was on a .450 Marlin. We shot skeet with the 12 gauge and put more than a few rounds down the .450 Marlin. I was thoroughly impressed with the Burris. It can definitely take a beating!
Cheaptrick, sweet set up on your Mossberg BTW. |
