I have decided to not go the cheap scope route. I have settled on two that are about the same price. Both have 1/8" dots. I am very familar with the Weaver T24. I know that the clicks are dead nuts repeatable. I am not familar with the Leuopold 24x40 Target. My local gun shop has 4 or 5 of these. I suspect they are a discontinued model as they are not on the Leuopold site.
Any suggestions?

My suggestion is don't get the Leupold, tell us what it is going on and what it is shooting at, that'll help.

Freedom is something you take.
Respect is something you earn. Equality is something you whine about not being given. |

You are the second person that has told me to avoid Leuopold. I met a guy at our range the other day that told me he had visited the Leuopold factory. His comment was their repair shop was almost as big as their production facility.
I am going to put it on a .22 bolt gun for long range (200 yd) sniper matches. I am a little concerned with the Weaver's lack of minutes adj.
I have considered the Vortex $99 scope SWFA offers. I am not sure if it has repeatable clips or will hold zero.
I just hate spending more for a scope than I did for my rifle.
