I say save for the Aimpoint, 44. has a substantial amount of recoil and needs a quality sight in order to take the abuse.

Welcome to Optics Talk.

Get the Aimpoint Micro, as soon as funds allow, my friend. An incredible site, to be sure.

i had an ATN on my 44 lever, and it was great. never lost a zero, and i was constantly taking it off and on. but it's on a lever gun, not a pistol.

Plus one on Aimpoint.  I also have an ultradot and it is so so but the Aimpoint is awesome.

44s destroy cheap ones
I have ran an aimpoint t1 and they work but are more than you want to spend

The ultradots hold up

I am trying a new LEUPOLD delta point and really like it
Don't know if they have a mount for the colt or not

Hey guys, I'm looking to put a either small red dot(tube type) or a holographic type sight on my Colt Anaconda for hunting purposes, and limit my shots to 100 yards max. I need something with a dot that is small enough that it wont completely cover a deers vitals at 100 yards. I'm considering a Burris fastfire II, the two ultradot holographic sights, a bushnell holosight if I can find one, or the vortex sparc or strykfire. I'd like to keep the cost around 200-250 bux. Any advice, or other brands I should look at?
