Anyone got the inside scoop on what hoyt has up their sleeves for this year? I am hoping for a faster carbon bow. Debating whether to buy the 2011 element or wait and see what they got coming out. Worried about going over budget though.

I want to say the Element will be modded up some.
It's a great bow from what I have seen and very quiet. |

I bought a element when the firs thit the market. I could not tune this bow ro save my life. it was way out... I had a buddy watch as I pulled it back and the bottom cam was wibble wabbing bad from side to side. I shot it 3 more times thru the papar and was picking up some part from the floor.I have seen 4 other case's like that but I hope they fix the problem. I shortly too the bow back and have not even looked at the carbon series. I'm happy with the alpha max and my maxxis for the hunting and tourniments I do. The vixen is a good bow also.

Word on the street is Hoyt is now having problems with their carbon limbs.. I know of 2 sets here in town that broke, and are headed back to Hoyt for examination. They may put the halt on full carbon bows until they get things staightened out.

BINGO, I'm thinking of ordering 80 pound limbs for my maxxis 31. I have no idea why just think it would be cool. 70 pounds is pretty easy for me to pull back and hold. I just want to see if I can get a arrow to go thru a car at 50 yards.

I remember yrs back (mid 80's ,19 not 18) the local shop ordered a 110# compound Darton for some local going on a brown bear hunt. Back then your talking MAYBE 50% let-off. No one there the day I was there good draw it.

Hey all my bro works at a sporting goods store and he said the hoyt rep told him they were going to put out a carbon bow that is resonably priced and much cheaper then previous carbon models.
I switched from maxxis 31 to bowtech invasion this year and I am glad I did! That damn hoyt and I never could get along. It was a b**** to paper tune. And after 30yards my groups fell apart.
