Well this year I switched to the biscuit after shooting a drop away for the past 10+ years. I did this because while shooting with some friends this summer I shot a friends bow that had a wisker biscuit on it. He is about my size and we shoot identical bows so I asked if he minded if I shot his bow to see how I liked the rest. I started at 20 yards and soon learned it was dead on for the both of us. So I then stretched it out to 40 yards. I could shoot his bow better at 40 yards then my own personal bow! So this year I set up a new rig (bowtech invasion with you guesed it a wisker biscuit). I am happy I did. I have never shot better. I just wanted to share my findings In case anyone was thinking about giving one a try. I did trim some of the wiskers where my fletchings pass through the rest so they dont get torn up over time. Anybody else have similar results or a wisker biscuit shooter????

Whisker biscuit is all I've used in the last 8 years. I chose it not for accuracy, but to make sure the arrow stayed on the rest when preparing for a shot under hunting conditions.

I've often wondered if one could be used for shooting with fingers but after watching some slow motion videos and seing how much a finger released aluminum arrow flexes side to side I don't know if there'd be proper clearance. But then again maybe "carbon" arrows don't flex as much.

I use a whisker biscuit and see no reason to go to a drop away.

It really makes my inverted, hanging from a tree, Rambo shots easier, too.

LOL, yeah I had to give those up.. My biscuit would rip my fletching off, but I do alot more shooting then most do. I shot 25 to 50 times a day. I open doors and shoot thru my house from the garage to the safe room only if its raining acourse.

I don't shoot quite as much as you, BD, but I do shoot 10-20 arrows 5 days a week (on average).  I shoot Blazer vanes, and have never had a fletching problem.

Wow. that's a little extreme BD. I guess I'm fortunate here. I drive down the road to the NFAA headquarters........... Where I shoot for free, because my wife is the office manager, and shoot several times a week. Pretty nice indoor range, and 4 outdoor ranges, with 3 of them being 3d ranges.
