Monin' all, 1"at home 20 miles north east got over a foot. Mrs. Peddler is happy.

The forecast here is snow from 7 tonite till 7 tomorrow nite..

The folks here at the Embassy Suites say the town will be paralyzed. Might kill the show tomorrow.

I''m supposed to fly out at noon Sunday pray for me.😂

Mornin folksCoffee
18* here, going to 22*. We had to dig out from under 2 to 3 inches of snow. The road sides are littered with wrecked cars. People will wreck at just the sight of snow.

Peddler, I'm telling you, NC ain't snow country or prepared for it.  It will shut down a town even as big as Raleigh.   RDU should stay open though unless it gets to be worse than they predict.  If you get stuck and need a place to crash let me know, I can come up and get you. Myrtle Beach Airport should be open if RDU is closed.

Mornin' all, got home last nite pure luck.

G, thanks for the offer. My Sunday flight was cancelled on Saturday afternoon and the earliest flight I could change to was Monday nite at 8:30. To me that wasn't even an option. One of our guys drove down from Philly to work the show so we left Sunday at 8:00 and he dropped me off at BWI and I caught the 3:30 flight home.

Morning from cold FL. We had a frost Sat nite/Sun am. Nothing last night, but today's high is only 65*. After that, we will return to normal with upper 70's and low 80's by Thursday and Friday. Yeah!

I do hate freezing rain. It's why I have a generator, a woodstove, an extra chain saw, a grill, extra food, and at least a week of vacation days.
Reminds me; I need some more gas cans.

Morning guys.

BF, good luck with that gas can hunt.  Now you got to get them stupid osha cans that suck.  I try to look at flea markets and surplus stores for old school no restriction cans.

It used to be that the filler spout lasted longer than the gas can. The cans would rust out. Now the dang filler spouts (if that's what you want to call them, because getting gas out of one is damn near impossible) break within a year of buying the dang can, and you can't find new ones that fit your can.

I'd love to see the Federal a$$holes that mandate and approve those damn safe gas cans stuck out in the middle of a desert in the middle of the night, and out of gas in their new car, with a full new can of gas. It would be even better if you could tell them before they tried to fill their tank, "Now remember, if you spill more than a pint, you'll never make it to civilization"Devil

Currently 70* with a light breeze gusting 25 -53 MPH. Fire warnings, with one large grass fire near Mannford from sparking electric lines. Going to be a fun drive.

I typically find ones that are easier to disable the safety mech.

I definitely hear your pain!!!  I have a 6 gallon red jerry can that the flex sprout finally got brittle and brought off right at the beginning of the bendy section only leaving about 3 inches.  I wouldn't trade that thing for 50 new ones...  Cencored
