Morning!  Spent the weekend in the yard.....

Cutting, sweeping, burning, tilling, planting, landscaping and getting a pretty good sunburn... Hippie

1st sunburn of  the year, I'm actually enjoying it!  Loco

I did the unthinkable over the weekend.... borrowed a buddies bass boat and drowned some crickets all weekend.

Kept waiting for the boat to sink or motor to blow as that's my luck normally when I borrow anything but it never happened.....

Morning all!

Mornin comradesCoffee

Still haven't mowed. Can't mow until we find the lost dog; wouldn't want to run over her with the mower. Just kidding.
I was going to mow, but I needed to clean out a drain pipe in the bathroom first. Soon as I turned the nut on the P-trap a pipe broke. Long story short, after 3 long trips to Lowe's I got it repaired at sunset.

Bud's flea and tick circus gave me an incentive to treat my dog and woods walking clothes. I got bit by one deer tick and 2 UCPs (unidentified crawling parasite). Thanks BudCencored

It was also a weekend lost. I lost the fiber optic in my front sight of my match pistol right after the first stage. Then I realized I lost my Bench Made knife. I wanted to bring my bino's to work this morning, and I couldn't find them. I found my Knife where I left it, and I'm pretty sure I'll find the binoculars, but what I really can't find is my mind. Casualty of old age.

Hey Scrummy, how's the house coming? Broke ground yet?Bucky

That sucks BF.   I've replaced the fiber on a buddys springfield xds about 5 times now.  I won't have fiber because of the worry of it falling out.

It was a tritium fiber optic too.
I have another set I was going to put on a carry pistol, but I'm going have to rethink that now.

The loss of the fiber optic wasn't a big deal until the last stage. The sun was bright and behind me, and it washed out the front sight, so I fired more rounds than I needed to, and picked up my only penalty for the match.

Late morning everybody,

Played Washer repairman for my sister last night..... what fun....NOT!

She had service come out and diagnose issue.  They said it was water inlet valve... $295 to replace it!
$123 for Part, $100 to separate the stacked washer/dryer $50 labor.

With some instruction from me she located a new valve on eBay for $43.

I got to put it in only to find that wasn't the problem.  Turned out the cold water feed line was completely clogged....  My arms are pretty much shredded from fishing around inside the washer for a dropped screw...Loco Cencored

Then after that I got the dreaded..... "While your here"  One fluorescent balast and two outside light fixtures later, I got to go home!  Yippee

Mornin comradesCoffee

Well, I found my binoculars. They were right where I didn't leave them. Mrs. BF said she didn't put them there either (yeah, I believe that). It must have been that ghost that hides stuff in our house from time to time.
I still can't find my mind, and I have looked everywhere.

Scrummy, what kind of water problems are you having? Is water seeping through the concrete?
