I did manage to replace the front sight on my match pistol, and repair a steel target so both can be used in the next match.
Hauled a couple loads of water between thunder storms yesterday.

Ranges were mud pits or bogs, so shooting didn't happen.

Morning all,  fished a pan fish tournament Saturday morning, they awarded money to only the person with the heaviest overall fish, not total fish but largest 1 fish.  I came 2nd with a fish 2oz under the winner.  Guy won with a 1.4oz fish, I was 1.2oz.   Shouldn't shoved a lead down its throat Bucky

I wouldn't be surprised if the winner didn't do that Skip,  he was the only one that didn't donate his fish to the event sponsor to be used for a community fish fry.

I didnt' realize until this weekend how little I have left in my tackle box for pan fish.... got do some shopping.

My roof came out good. 3 years ago, after the high heat during that summer basically melted the shingles where they slid off the steep pitch of the roof. We had the new  Malarkey laminated shingles installed on our house. They are a high impact shingle with a elastomer base that resist hail damage.  It is a longer shingle giving a wider nailing area providing a 140 mph wind rating. Pricey up front, but with the Oklahoma weather it just paid for itself. All of my neighbors are needing new roofs. Next door the roof on the new addition to his home was less than a month old totally destroyed. At least 2 neighbors said that they are even needing decking where some of the larger size hail penetrated the decking below. Only a few minor marks were noted by 2 different roofers that inspected my roof. If you need new shingles, this storm is all the proof I need to recommend the Malarkey shingles.

Mornin' Gents.  I can only remember one time in my life that I wanted grits.  It was at the end of Desert Phase of Ranger School and we were getting full breakfast in the mess hall.  Nothing like loading up a plate of grits with extra sugar and pancake syrup, then struggling to get through the day because of the diabetic fever it caused in the following hours.  Of course the fact that we essentially hadn't had a single day with a good meal for the ten days prior to the grits probably contributed.

All you poor souls that were raised in the North just don't know!!!!

It's CORN for crying out loud!  Any of you eat "cream of wheat"?

It's southern Tofu!!!!!!  it takes on the flavor of what it's cooked with...

Eduardo, you should be ashamed!  Beat you've eaten couple hundred pounds of Tortilla and Burrito shells,
Real ones that have grit in them from hand grinding the corn!
