Glad your feeling better Bud.

I'm really sorry to hear that Lynn. I know my folks used a certain anti tic medicine (i'll have to ask my mother) for our Choco Lab and it seemed to work very well. We rarely had to pull any off him that i can recall.  I'll see what i can dig up for you.

Thanks Paul
We've tried the stuff you put between the shoulder blades, but the tick has to bite them to kill the tickLoco We're using a special tick collar now, but they are still getting bit.

BF, check on some stuff called KnockOut LA,  its a spray, you spray it onto them or in my case what I did was spray it onto a rag and wipe my dogs legs and body down real good with it, Can't let them lick it for a few minutes while it drys but after that it works and works good.  I've not once pulled a tick off my dogs since I started using it.... me I've had plenty on me but not the dogs.

Is it toxic to the dog after drying, and how long does it last?
And thanks for the response.

Mine was good.  Saturday was the wifes birthday so didn't do much other than hang out with her and go shopping, she has expensive tasteThumbs Down

Then Sunday after church I did some shooting testing some new loads I did.  All in all, not to shabby a weekend.

Mornin allCoffee
Finally got into KCR
Got dad back home and settled in.
Nephew came up, and said he has restarted his lawn buisness, and can mow my lawn.
Wife bought me a new Lazy Boy, but we can't pick it up til later this month.
Got part of my physical report, and it said I'm normal. Knew they'ed get it wrong.

Morning.  Sounds like a good weekend for most.  Got the scooter out and went a few hundred miles.  Mowed the lawn on Saturday.   First time I ever mowed in March.

Mowing started early this year for sure!  Mowed mine and ran the tiller throught the yard 4 times.  Picked about half a 5 cuft of rocks out of the garden then fertilized and limed her good.  It rained last night right on cue!  Will till the garden one more time to till in the fertilzier and lime then rewturn the tiller to my sister.  Went over my re-bar tomato baskets i made a couple of years ago.
rewelded broken welds then treated all of them with rust converter.  they came out nice.  Now to cut peices of old garden hose to cover all the horizontal bars and they will be ready!

My son went to his first road rally in Hershey, PA this weekend with his new BMW.  It rained all Saturday.  He didn't do too well in the rain. Spun out and lost his front bumper in the 2nd heat, missed the 3rd heat to repairs then ran clean in the 4th heat.  Sunday it was dry and he did very well and won a trophy.  He should have enrolled as a novice since it was his first race but he didn't since he has been to several as pitcrew for someone else!  he came home excited and very tired!
