Havning always passed on previous promotions and group buys, this one is just too good a deal to pass up. Placed order yesterday afternoon. Now the waiting begins. Thanks for doing this SWFA!

Hello,
I apologize if this has been answered somewhere, but does anyone know an estimated release date for the 1-6x scope? I have a major 3gun match in July and would love to order this scope right now if I could possibly have it by mid to late June. If not I'm going to have to come up with a different solution. Thanks!!

Once again SWFA hits a home run for everyone. Nobody offers up the combination of quality and CS. I ordered the 1-6x as soon as the 5K promo hit.

Oh how painful to finally come across the scope I want just 2 weeks after a $200 coupon expired! "Liked" and watching! Will be anxious to read folks impression of the 1-6x once it starts to ship.

I ordered one but my impatience ,and the fact that I really want a new scope before a major match in July, has me thinking about the Bushnell 1-6.5. I can't decide if I should cancel my order for this scope, or order the Bushnell, then decide which one I like best and sell the other off. |

Great excuse to get the combo like I did, . SWFA said the 5-20 is shipping ahead in a previous post, who got it and what's the wait time from order? I ordered 6-04-12. I'm anxious for the 1-6 like everybody but I would rather it be done right than rushed.

I ordered the combo deal on May 23rd. My SS 5-20 arrived on June 7th. Hands down the nicest damn scope I've ever looked through.
It's way more scope in weight and power range than I need on my .308 that's for certain. Still, I really do like it. Had the opportunity to look through a buddies SS 5-20 that he had mounted up. I was more than a little impressed. He stated that the glass was hands down better than the glass in his Vortex PST 6-24 FFP and that the SS 5-20 tracked true - should mention that this friend is a sniper on the local SWAT team, so I trust his evaluation.
I cannot wait to get mine mounted up this next week. An added bonus which was a very welcome surprise is that the 5-20 they sent me was the version with the blacked out cap on the paralax - No SWFA logo!!!!!! Don't get me wrong, I love SS scopes - when the 1-6 gets here I will own 3. I really do prefer NOT having that glaring logo on the side. It's enough that it says SS on the Objective ring and SWFA SS on the bottom flat side of the turret housing.
What is everyone else getting with their 5-20? I know that just the scope and the turret screw wrench is standard which is what I received. My buddy got a SWFA sticker. Do any of the non-illuminated models ship with the reticle subtension card or is that only included with the illuminated model? Just curious. I can always print off the subtensions and laminate it myself.
If the 1-6 impresses me as much as the 5-20 does, gentlemen it will be well worth the wait!
I called after I ordered the combo deal and was told that they are shipping out the SS 5-20's in the order they were received, and that they ship out X amount every day. I can only assume that they are selling a ton of these as mine didn't ship until about 1-1/2 weeks after I ordered. It only took 3 days to get here once I got shipping notification though. I ordered the combo and my card was charged the full amount the following day. I have no worries that I'll get my monies worth once the scopes arrive.

Payment is taken at time of order because the 5-20 will ship out at that time, the 1-6 will follow when they arrive but nothing will be charged when it ships out. Basically its like paying for the 5-20 now and getting a 1-6 later for free.
