Dracula. First Edition. $45,000 Dollars
I had an ancient copy of Dracula back in the early sixties. I am still looking to find it online so I can see how much it was worth. I don't have it anymore, of course.

First Edition. Caine Mutiny. $1500 Dollars.
I had one of these but I left it at home when I left Kansas in 2003. I wonder if my ex-wife kept it or threw it in a bonfire. Mine was ex-library.

Ed, I had an original printing of Tarzan of the Apes. When I went into the Army, my mother either threw away or sold all my books, comic books, etc. I had an original Action Comics Superman that my dad gave to me, I'm pretty sure I had an original "Green Lantern", all the 1st editions of Marvel Comics heroes. I think I paid 12 cents each for them. Another fortune lost...

Here is a photo of a woman throwing a penny into the fountain for good luck. The penny was a 1909 S VDB. The last one on earth. |

Quit it!
I don't want to be reminded that I used to be a millionaire in comics and coins, and who knows what else
