Ed, I had an original printing of Tarzan of the Apes.  When I went into the Army, my mother either threw away or sold all my books, comic books, etc.  I had an original Action Comics Superman that my dad gave to me, I'm pretty sure I had an original "Green Lantern", all the 1st editions of Marvel Comics heroes.  I think I paid 12 cents each for them.  Another fortune lost...

I had a First Edition of Hemingway's GREEN HILLS OF AFRICA.   Ex-Lirary copy, in good shape.  I don't think I had a dust cover.
